Conteúdo Programático - Inglês

O curso de Inglês está organizado em nove níveis (semestres), distribuídos em quatro semestres básicos, quatro semestres intermediários e um semestre do nível avançado (Conversação). Para cada dois semestres é proposto um material didático que serve ao aluno de apoio para a aprendizagem da língua e fixação de conteúdos. A seguir, a ementa dos conteúdos previstos para cada módulo.

- NÍVEL BÁSICO -

INGLÊS I

Desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa através das seguintes funções da linguagem: Telling a classmate your occupation; Identifying your classmates; Introducing people; Telling someone your first and last name; Getting someone’s contact information; Talking about locations; Discussing how to get to places; Discussing transportation; Identifying people in your family; Describing your relatives; Talking about your family; Confirming that you’re on time; Talking about the time of an event; Asking about birthdays; Giving and accepting a compliment; Asking for colors and sizes; Describing clothes; Talking about morning and evening activities; Describing what you do in your free time; Discussing household chores.

INGLÊS II

Desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa através das seguintes funções da linguagem: Describing your neighborhood; Asking about someone’s home; Talking about furniture and appliances; Describing today’s weather; Discussing plans; Asking about people’s activities; Discussing ingredients for a recipe; Offering and asking for foods; Inviting someone to join you at the table; Telling someone about an event; Describing your past activities; Talking about your weekend; Describing appearance; Showing concern about an injury; Suggesting a remedy; Discussing your abilities; Politely declining an invitation; Asking for and agreeing to do a favor; Getting to know someone’s life story; Discussing plans; Sharing your dreams for the future.

Desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa através das seguintes funções da linguagem: Meeting someone new; Identifying and describing people; Providing personal information; Accepting or declining an invitation; Expressing locations and giving directions; Making plans to see an event; Talking about musical tastes; Reporting news about relationships; Describing extended families; Comparing people; Discussing family cultural traditions; Asking for a restaurant recommendation; Ordering from a menu; Speaking to a server and paying for a meal; Discussing food and health; Recommending a brand or model; Expressing sympathy for a problem; Complaining when things don’t work; Describing features of products.

Desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa através das seguintes funções da linguagem: Planning an activity with someone; Talking about habitual activities and future plans; Discussing fitness and eating habits; Describing your routines; Greeting someone arriving from a trip; Asking about someone’s vacation; Discussing vacation preferences; Describing good and bad vacation experiences; Shopping and paying for clothes; Asking for a different size or color; Navigating a mall or a department store; Discussing clothing do’s and don’ts; Discussing schedules and buying tickets; Booking travel services; Understanding airport announcements; Describing transportation problems; Asking for a recommendation; Bargaining for a lower price; Showing appreciation for service; Describing where to get the best deals.

- NÍVEL INTERMEDIÁRIO -

INTER I

Desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa através das seguintes funções da linguagem: Getting acquainted with someone; Greeting a visitor to your country; Discussing gestures and customs; Describing an interesting experience; Apologizing for being late; Discussing preferences for movie genres; Describing and recommending movies; Discussing effects of movie violence on viewers; Leaving and taking a message; Checking into a hotel; Requesting housekeeping services; Choosing a hotel; Discussing a car accident; Describing a car problem; Renting a car; Discussing good and bad driving; Asking for something in a store; Making an appointment at a salon or spa; Discussing ways to improve appearance; Defining the meaning of beauty.

INTER II

Desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa através das seguintes funções da linguagem: Talking about food passions; Making an excuse to decline food; Discussing lifestyle changes; Describing local dishes; Getting to know a new friend; Cheering someone up; Discussing personality and its origin; Examining the impact of birth order on personality; Recommending a museum; Asking about and describing objects; Talking about artistic talent; Discussing your favorite artists; Troubleshooting a problem; Comparing product features; Describing how you use the Internet; Discussing the impact of the Internet; Discussing ethical choices; Returning someone else’s property; Expressing personal values; Discussing acts of kindness and honesty.


INTER III

Desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa através das seguintes funções da linguagem: Making small talk; Describing a busy schedule; Developing your cultural awareness; Discussing how culture changes over time; Showing concern and offering help; Making a medical or dental appointment; Discussing types of treatments; Talking about medications; Offering a solution; Discussing how long a service will take; Evaluating the quality of service; Planning an event; Recommending a book; Asking about an article; Describing your reading habits; Discussing online reading; Conveying a message; Telling someone about the news; Describing natural disasters; Preparing for an emergency.

INTER IV
Desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa através das seguintes funções da linguagem: Explaining a change of intentions and plans; Expressing regrets: about past actions; Discussing skills, abilities, and qualifications; Discussing factors that promote success; Wishing someone a good holiday; Asking about local customs;  Exchanging information about holidays; Explaining wedding traditions; Describing technology; Taking responsability for a mistake; Describing new inventions; Discussing the impact of inventions/discoveries; Talking about politics; Discussing controversial issues politely; Proposing solutions to global problems; Debate teh pros and cons of issues; Describing a geographical location; Warning about a possible risk; Describing a natural setting; Discussing solutions to global warming.


- NÍVEL AVANÇADO -

CONVERSAÇÃO (UPPER INTERMEDIATE)

Desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa através de atividades envolvendo habilidades integradas,  com foco na produção oral.
