do total de 360 mil existentes no Brasil. São 38 povos, com suas línguas e culturas
diferentes, habitantes de aproximadamente 10% do territorio matogrossense: Apiaká,
Kayabi, Munduruku, Arara, Xavante, Cinta Larga, Bakairi, Paresi, Kayapó, Enauenê nauê,
Mynky, Bororo, Nambikwara, Aweti, Juruna, Kalapalo, Kamayurá, Kuikuro, Matipu, Nahukwá,
Mehinaku, Suyá, Tapayuna, Trumái, Txicão, Waurá, Yawalapiti, Rikbaktsa, Irantxe,
Panará, Karajá, Surui, Tapirapé, Terena, Umutina, Zoró, Guató e Chiquitanos.

There are currently around 25 thousand Indians within the
state of Mato Grosso, part of a total 360 thousand throughout the whole of Brazil.
